The LiDAR Industrial application solution provides a bridge anti-collision warning system that launches lasers to scan and monitor ultra-high targets in navigable waters.

For ultra-high ships that threaten the safety of Bridges, the ship’s position and distance can be detected within two kilometers, timely alarm, and the collision between ultra-high ships and Bridges can be effectively avoided.

How can LiDAR play a role in bridge safety?

By installing a LiDAR at a specific location on the bridge or on shore at a certain distance from the bridge, lasers are used to identify whether passing ships are above a preset threshold for excessive elevation. When the ship is above the limit height of the bridge, the system outputs an alarm signal.

The alarm information is sent to the ultra-high ship through the loudspeaker and the large LED display screen, and the alarm information is displayed in the monitoring hall. Maritime law enforcement authorities and bridge maintenance personnel, upon receiving warnings, will deal with dangerous situations in a timely manner to effectively avoid collisions between over height vessels and bridges.
