The proposal is designed for blind Spot detection function of commercial vehicles , heavy trucks, trailers, dump trucks and various heavy engine vehicles. By installation of LiDAR, the full coverage detection of the blind zone can be realized, which can accurately detect LiDAR vehicles and pedestrians in the blind zones around the vehicle, and alerts driver immediately.
Actively detect blind zones around the vehicle , effectively avoid traffic accidents caused by negligence or fatigue driving.
Compared to other sensors such as infrared , ultrasonic, radar etc LiDAR has the accurate and fast detection capacity.
From the first detection of the target to the alarm activation , the response time is < 150ms .
Not affected by day and night light intensity , work all day for the driver's safety.
LiDAR applying with non-contact scanning methodology can flexibly set up the monitoring area through three-level protection zones around the vehicle, covering the whole blind zone and reducing the road traffic accidents caused by human manipulations.
