HUAWEI CONNECT 2023丨LSLiDAR & Huawei Jointly Build Global Warehouse Logistics Robot Industry Ecosystem

Recently, the Huawei Connect 2023, themed “Accelerating Industry Intelligence,” kicked off in Shanghai. Hu Xiaobo, Chairman of LSLiDAR, was invited to participate in the sub-forum titled “Huawei Cloud Robotics Platform: Co-creating an Embodied Intelligent Future.” During his speech, he shared industry insights and case studies, engaging in discussions on how to collectively explore the future of intelligence.

Huawei Connect conference is a grand event that caters to the entire industry, aiming to create an open, collaborative, and sharing platform. Together with industry elites, technical experts, partners, developers, and other colleagues from around the world, the conference seeks to drive industry development, build an open and win-win healthy ecosystem. This event focuses on accelerating industry intelligence, exploring various aspects such as business, industry, and ecosystem to facilitate the process.

Mr. Hu Xiaobo delivered a keynote speech titled “Building Advanced Solutions for Industrial Warehousing and Logistics Automation with Huawei Cloud Robotics Platform” during the forum at the conference. He discussed the current market development status and pain points of unmanned forklifts in the industrial warehousing and logistics automation industry. He shared insights on how to collaborate with Huawei Cloud Robotics Platform to empower AGVs/unmanned forklifts and other warehousing logistics robots, accelerate the automation of industrial transportation and logistics, create reusable solutions, and provide a deeper analysis of the innovative applications of 3D SLAM-enabled unmanned forklifts in the industrial warehousing and logistics automation industry.

During the conference, the presentation introduced the cutting-edge LSLiDAR’s series of LiDAR products, which boast world-leading technology and are configured on unmanned forklifts. Each unmanned forklift is equipped with 7-8 LiDARs, providing rich and stable 360° perception information. This configuration ensures enhanced safety, stability, and reliability.

He emphasized that LSLiDAR is a pioneer in the global implementation of LiDAR 3D SLAM technology and applications for unmanned forklifts. The 3D SLAM solution using LiDAR is the optimal choice for large-scale application of unmanned forklifts. It effectively addresses three major pain points associated with traditional methods, namely the inability to use reflective plates, QR codes, and 2D SLAM solutions in off-site scenarios, limitations in scene application, high-cost investments, and complex and easily abandoned deployments. This solution can be applied in various scenarios such as factory automation, warehouse automation, and port automation. It includes cluster scheduling, pallet recognition and stacking, automatic loading and unloading, industrial stair climbing, vehicle-road coordination, indoor-outdoor cross-scene operations, and more. LSLiDAR has already served over 150 industry clients, accumulating deployment experience in various unmanned forklift scenarios and establishing multiple benchmarks across industries.

Huawei Cloud Robotics Platform provides enterprises with a platform to facilitate the manufacturing, integration, and usage of robots. Mr. Hu Xiaobo emphasized that the collaboration between LSLiDAR and Huawei Cloud enriches the company’s existing business model and supplements the singularity of edge computing. It enables centralized data processing, helping enterprises optimize the efficiency of system data computation. Leveraging Huawei Cloud’s intelligent application software and service deployment, a variety of intelligent management systems for 3D SLAM unmanned forklifts are created, seamlessly integrating logistics, information flow, and decision-making flow. The use of cloud-based active-passive instances ensures high availability of business operations, improves system reliability, safeguards data security, and achieves autonomous and controllable underlying computing architecture, as well as value realization in various scenarios. Huawei Cloud Robotics Platform possesses strong technical capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and embraces deep collaboration with LSLiDAR. The technical team provides comprehensive support, combining the advantages of the 3D SLAM software and hardware platform to jointly create next-generation intelligent manufacturing solutions, effectively promoting the intelligent upgrade across various industries.

Mr. Hu Xiaobo’s presentation at the conference received high recognition and positive feedback from attendees. He actively interacted and exchanged ideas with industry experts and entrepreneurs present at the event, focusing on warehousing logistics robots. Moving forward, LSLiDAR will collaborate with Huawei to build a harmonious and healthy global ecosystem for the warehousing logistics robot industry. Leveraging its innovative technology and industry resource advantages, LSLiDAR aims to provide more competitive and professional solutions for industry development. It strives to contribute to the high-quality development of the intelligent robotics industry and embrace the next wave of AI advancement.
